In addition to meeting the salary threshold, an employee must also perform the job duties for executive, administrative or personnel exemption to be exempt.
The 2025 salary threshold for highly compensated workers increased to $127,091/year. In addition to meeting the salary threshold, highly compensated workers must primarily perform office work and at least one of the job duties of executive, administrative or personnel to be exempt.
