Lisa Shoemaker’s practice focuses on employment law and related litigation
Ms. Shoemaker counsels employers and employees on a wide range of employment matters, including hiring and termination, restrictive covenants, civil rights compliance, disciplinary actions, employment contracts and negotiations, harassment and discrimination claims and defenses, wrongful termination and retaliation claims, employee handbooks and policies, compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws, trade secret matters, and privacy issues. Ms. Shoemaker represents clients in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings and conducts internal investigations, in-house training and audits to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
