Legal Experience

Ms. Shoemaker has experience handling a wide variety of litigation matters, including trade secret/non-compete disputes, contract disputes involving fraud, misrepresentation, and bad faith, intellectual property, consumer protection act claims, fair debt collection practices disputes, and insurance defense matters.  In addition, Ms. Shoemaker has represented and counseled clients on HIPAA privacy issues, Anti-Kickback and Stark compliance and employment related matters including professional employment arrangements, severance agreements and non-compete covenants.  Ms. Shoemaker has represented clients in a variety of industries including healthcare, real estate, telecommunications, transportation, and consumer products, and include privately owned businesses, non-profit corporations and publicly-held companies.
